Optomap Retinal Imaging

A Superior Eye Exam

A Complete Image

We are proud to offer Optomap ultra-widefield retinal imaging technology at the 10th Street Eyecare Center! Routine retinal scans can reveal early signs of many destructive eye conditions and are essential in preserving your overall eye health. Traditional retinal imaging allows for viewing of only about 15% of the retina, which can hinder your provider’s ability to diagnose major conditions. Optomap digital images can capture up to 82% of the retina in high resolution, giving our doctors a complete, accurate image to work with.

Utilizing the Optomap, early signs of serious eye disease can be detected more efficiently and effectively than ever before. Optomap exams take very little time and can often be completed without dilation drops, resulting in an easier experience at appointments. This technology is safe to use with kids, ensuring that they are receiving the highest standard of care and being supported as they develop.

Prevent Long-Term
Eye Disease

Because the Optomap captures much more of your retina in its images, we can get a much more accurate picture of any potential issues and get you started on a treatment plan before it's too late. For many degenerative vision conditions, the key is to start treatment before symptoms develop, and the Optomap allows us to do just that. Don't wait until you start to develop symptoms to get checked out; get an Optomap exam at your next appointment and take control of your eye health!
